We are looking for a Process Developer for Business Services that thrives on devising solutions for clients and delivering the work to create the solution. Experienced in business services, you have a thorough understanding of how work needs to be completed accurately and efficiently, and working with the team, you will manage workflow across the team and mentor and train team members. To be eligible for the position, you must have:
- A proactive approach to developing and maintaining client relationships for a broad group of clients from business owners to professionals from a diverse range of industries.
- Ensuring work is delivered by your team to a high standard and all client expectations are met
- Working closely with clients on a range of business advisory needs including business restructuring, tax planning, and cash flow management
- Working with other specialists to provide a full range of services to clients
- Identifying business development opportunities and referral networks
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- General bookkeeping for clients, including the processing of data on the preferred software
- Prepare management accounts under supervision to the required standard to ensure files are prepared and documented with sufficient evidence for review
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- To always ensure quality as directed by the supervisor/manager
- Carry out duties assigned by the supervisor/manager efficiently, thoroughly, and in accordance with the client’s procedure
- Clear all review points raised on the work prior to the file being passed to the next level
- Attend team meetings and training as required
- Recognize when the information provided by the client is incomplete and inaccurate and take steps to rectify this
- Ensure that timescales and deadlines set down are achieved, seeking advice regarding the resolution of issues ad problems as appropriate
Requirements:
Qualifications, knowledge & experience
- 2–4 years experience in a similar job profile
- Proven ability in managing workflow and willingness to coach and engage a vibrant team of accountants to deliver the very best outcomes for our clients and our business along with the proactive organization
- High level of tax knowledge and be able to translate this knowledge to client outcomes
- Be a highly motivated and proactive self-starter
- Confidence in interacting with clients and developing relationships
- A strong work ethic that enables you to deliver A1 service to clients
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- A keen interest and proven experience in implementing technological and cloud-based solutions
- Prior experience managing a small team
- A passion and aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships
- Preference to Experience with Sage, XERO, Wave Accounting, FreshBooks, QBO, Zoho books, Kashflow, Clearbooks
