We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, dedicated, and ambitious person to work with Aone on compliance matters and deliver A1 services under the assigned project.
Due to rapid expansion within the Financial Reporting Division, the position of Team Leader – Financial Reporting has been created. This role will be responsible for managing a high-quality portfolio of Financial Reporting and taking the next step in their career by managing a team.

- 7-10 years experience in Financial Reporting including Tax Return

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
- Managing a larger portfolio of Financial Reporting
- Allocation of work amongst team members
- Supervision on financial and tax returns prepared by the team members
- Contributing to continuous improvement of systems and work practices
- Query Management
- Communication with auditors, clients, and external parties
- Training, development, and mentoring of junior team members as required
- Attending external and internal training and professional development activities to continue to develop and maintain relevant skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges and experience
- You will manage key clients and 5 to 10 staff members whilst working closely with one of the Directors
- Follow up on queries
- Keep up to date with the Manual Procedure Guide
- Oversee the work of less experienced team members and assist with their development
- Fully Responsibility for maintaining the Quality of the job and outstanding services to the clients
Requirements:
Qualifications, knowledge & experience
- Postgraduate (MBA/M.COM/ICWA) in Commerce (Accounting) & Finance
- Excellent communication
- 7-10 years of accounting experience in public practice with a solid compliance background and experience with Accounting and Taxation
- Personable and able to develop strong relationships with clients and team members
- Problem solving skills and applying technical knowledge to varying client situations
- Sounds technical knowledge of relevant and developing tax law
- Reviewing compliance assignments of team member’s staff
- Working closely with Directors to provide exceptional client service
- Competent/sound working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
- Able to show ownership of your workflow
