    Senior Process Developer – UK Operation

    A varied, challenging, and exciting role with the main objective being to provide quality accounting and tax services to our clients. As a Senior Process Developer, you will take ownership of client communication, and review the work of others along with supporting the development of more junior members of the team.

     

    To be eligible for the position, you must have:

    • Experience with supervising and reviewing the work of accountants is highly favorable
    • A motivated, proactive, and approachable person who has proven client management experience within an accounting firm
    • Client relationship management
    • Staff management
    • Workflow management

    Responsibilities:

    Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

    • Managing Multiple engagements of the clients
    • Responsible for high-quality deliverables
    • Work closely with the client and Team Leaders/Managers
    • Maintain accounting records, and working papers, calculate and apply adjustment entries to management accounts
    • Prepare/review VAT Returns, including an understanding of partial exemption rules
    • Carry out training sessions for clients and Team Members on key software’s
    • Supervise and train junior colleagues to ensure high quality standards are met and work is completed within the assigned timeframes
    • Perform ad hoc project work as requested– e.g. catch-up exercises for clients and tidying up accounting software,
    • Perform reviews of the client’s existing systems, processes, and procedures
    • Assisting with the preparation of tax computations for individuals and businesses
    • Assisting more senior colleagues in gathering information and communicating with clients on routine matters.
    • Communicating with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients where authorized to do so.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications, knowledge & experience

    • 4-7-year experience in a similar job profile
    • Proven ability in managing workflow and willingness to coach and engage a vibrant team of accountants to deliver the very best outcomes for our clients and our business along with the proactive organization
    • High level of tax knowledge and be able to translate this knowledge to client outcomes
    • Be a highly motivated and proactive self-starter.
    • Confidence in interacting with clients and developing relationships
    • A strong work ethic that enables you to deliver A1 service to clients
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
    • A keen interest and proven experience in implementing technological and cloud-based solutions
    • Prior experience managing a small team
    • A passion and aptitude for building and maintaining client relationship
    • Preference to Experience with Sage, XERO, Wave Accounting, FreshBooks, QBO, Zoho books, Kashflow, Clearbooks
